hi, I’m Hana

I’m a photographer based in New York, working throughout New England. I photograph families, seniors, sports, horses, pets, and whatever else catches my eye.

I’ve always liked photographing things as they’re happening. Sports are fast and unpredictable, and I love the energy of trying to catch both the action and the reactions around it. That carries over into the rest of my work too. I want the classic photo where everyone is looking at the camera, but I’m also watching for what happens five seconds later.

I’ve been behind a camera for years, starting with sports and eventually branching into portraits, equine photography, events, and family work.

I’m also a mom now, which has made me even more aware of how quickly everyday life changes. Time moves fast. It moves especially fast with a toddler.
